Obituary -- Preslee Christina Wendle 2013-2017

Preslee Christina Wendle, 3 years young, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at her home with her mom and dad.

Preslee was born November 10, 2013 in Maryville MO to Ronnie and Amber Wendle. Preslee was diagnosed at 15 months with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. While Preslee spent a good portion of her life battling this evil, she brought nothing but happiness to all those who were close to her and Inspiration to everyone. Preslee loved Mickey Mouse, Elsa, Anna, Curious George and "Punzel". Her favorite things to do were play with her sisters, swing outside and eat her favorite scrambled eggs at Grandma's. Although she was the youngest and smallest of her and her sisters, she didn't let that slow her down. Preslee was the orneriest, most lovable child you ever met. Her incriminating giggle and smile would melt your heart. Preslee never lost her fight with cancer, God saved her from it.
Preslee was welcomed into heaven by all of her great grandparents and many friends and family that went before her. She has the best angels taking care of her now and we have the best angel looking after us.

Those left behind are her Mommy and Daddy, her sisters, Taylor and Elayna, all of the home, her maternal grandparents, Grandpa Bob and Grandma Susan Randle, Papa Matt and Mamaw Cyn Johnson, all of Maryville. Paternal Grandparents, Grandma Tina Wendle of Ravenwood, Grandpa Dale Wendle of Barnard. Uncle Jace, Aunt Ashley, Kinsley and Hadley Randle of Dumfries, VA, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Tricia, Garet and Lindsey Jackson of Ravenwood. Many, many family and friends. Our list would be incomplete without mentioning those closest to her through our journey at Children's Mercy; her favorite nurse Mary, Ashley, Brandy, Dr. August, Jordan, Dr. Ahmed, Celia, Katy, Sara, Aimee and of course, Hunter, the 4 Henson Dog.

In honor of Preslee, the family requests that you consider becoming a blood donor and joining the bone marrow registry at bethematch.org.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to US Bank in honor of Preslee.

Visitation will be 2-5 PM Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville.

Funeral Services were 10 AM Monday, June 5th, also at the church. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville.
