Obituary Jacqueline (Dowling) Holaday 1933-2017

Jacqueline (Jackie) Jean Dowling Holaday, 84, Barnard, Missouri, went to join her Lord and Master June 10, 2017.

Jackie was born March 4, 1933 in Hopkins, Missouri to Eugene and Mildred Ulmer Dowling. She was a graduate of Horace Mann High School, Maryville.

Jackie married the love of her life Harold Dean Holaday August 10, 1952. They spent 64 years together. He still resides at their home.

From their union they had four children, Michael (Debbie) Holaday, Caron (Victor) Coulter, Malinda (Wes) Pangle, all of Barnard, and Lisa (Kirby) Parker, Plano, TX. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister Mary Karen (Dave) Christensen, Savannah and brother Steve Dowling, Maryville and Aunt and Uncle Beverly and Pete Bowen, Independence, MO.
Jackie was a member of the Barnard Christian Church. She also loved baby sitting her grandchildren and area children and was a very good cook! She was Grant Township Tax Collector for many years and also had been a receptionist for the Super 8 Motel.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary Dowling and sister Ronda Salsbury.
She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, June 12, 2017 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, with Funeral Services 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Barnard Christian Church. Burial will follow the services at the American Legion Cemetery, Barnard.

Memorials may be made to the choice of the donor, or the Barnard Christian Church.
