Kenneth “Kenny” Eugene Frueh 62, Maryville, Missouri died Thursday, June 15, 2017 surrounded by family at MOSAIC Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He was born November 8, 1954 in Maryville, the son of Eugene and Donna (Crocker) Frueh.
Kenny was a graduate of Maryville High School.
He married Barbara “Barb” (Mattson) November 30, 1985 in Maryville.
Kenny had been a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Maryville. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and best friend. Kenny knew no strangers and made many friends as a farmer, bulldozer operator and through adventures to tractor pulls. His proudest title was Grandpa and he enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Frueh (April 23, 2006) and sister Diane (Frueh) Stanislaus (May 6, 2009).
Survivors include his wife, Barb of their home in Maryville; daughter, Ashley and husband, Ben Greeley, Maryville; his son, Shawn and wife, Emily Frueh, Pickering, Missouri; his grandchildren: Layla Greeley, Maryville and Landon Frueh, Pickering; his mother, Donna Frueh, Maryville; brothers, sister and their spouses: Karla and Randy Wooten, Maryville; Randy and Judy Frueh, Pickering; Roger and Teresa Frueh, Pickering; brother-in-law, Marlin Stanislaus, Olathe, Kansas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Visitation is 7pm to 9pm, Sunday, June 18, 2017 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville, with a prayer service at 6:30pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Monday, June 19, 2017 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Maryville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for the Nodaway County Birthday Brigade Team with Relay for Life or St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, both in Kenny’s name.
