Four People, Including Two Teens, Killed in Daviess County Wreck

Four Trenton residents were killed in a wreck near the Daviess/Grundy County line Tuesday, June 6th. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 1994 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Trey Shaw (20) of Trenton was eastbound on Route 190 in Daviess County, 1/2 mile west of the county line. The patrol reports that the vehicle traveled partially off the right side of the road and then overcorrected. The Rodeo returned to the roadway and began to travel off the north side of the roadway. The vehicle then traveled parallel to the roadway down an embankment, became airborne, and struck a ditch. The Rodeo came to rest in the ditch on its wheels facing northwest. The report states that the vehicle was difficult to see from the roadway and wasn't discovered until several hours later. Also killed were Malachi Knapp (18) of Trenton, Matheson Knapp (19) of Trenton, and Micah Knapp (31) of Trenton along with Shaw. None were wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
