Alice Faye Cross, 82, Hopkins, Missouri died Friday, June 2, 2017, at her home in Hopkins.
Alice was born November 10, 1934 in Ellington, Missouri to the late Ray and Maude Hall Kreps. She graduated from the Sheridan, Missouri High School in 1952.
Raymond Elvin Cross and Alice Faye Kreps were united in marriage December 4, 1952, in Hopkins.
Until Alice "retired" at 79 years old, she had worked many jobs. She was always a homemaker for her family as she worked for Bircliff Industries, served as Hopkins Township Tax Collector and worked at Wilson Grocery, just to name a few.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Raymond Cross (February 5, 2003); daughter Allison "Poppy" Calfee; brothers Galen Kreps and Charles Miller; and sisters Elizabeth Dukes, Ethelyn Sommer and Betty Morgan.
Alice is survived by her son, Raymond "Skeeter" Cross and daughter, Marcia (Randy) Beason both of Hopkins; seven grandchildren: Danielle Miller, Melissa Daly, Coby Cross, Grant John, Brooke Chonko, Luke Ramsey and Ali Ramsey; thirteen great-grandchildren; niece Penny Sheley, Lenox, Iowa; sister Donna Riley and son-in-law John Calfee both of Hopkins and her favorite little companions Piper and Mikey.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday June 8, 2017 at the First Christian Church, Hopkins. It will be followed by burial at Hopkins Cemetery.
