Only One Candidate for NEN School Board Race

Only one candidate, Darrin Adwell, has filed for the Northeast Nodaway school board race. The write-in deadline for the April 2nd election for persons wishing to declare themselves as a write-in candidate is March 22nd. As of Tuesday, March 6th, there were no write-in candidates filed according to the Nodaway County Clerk's office. If the March 22nd deadline passes and nobody declares themselves as a write-in, then voters can write in anyone they want to and it would be up to the school to seat the winner.
