30 Attend Sheridan Christian End of Summer Celebration

Around 30 people attended the Sheridan Christian Church's End of Summer Celebration Saturday evening at the Grant City Pool Park. There was a free meal along with kids games and swimming. The weather was unseasonably cool, so few kids braved the pool. However, there were plenty of other things to do. Yard bean bag games were popular along with the swings and volleyball pit. While the weather was too cold for swimming, it was perfect for horseshoe pitching; several of the men set up a horseshoe range just north of the park and played some rounds of horseshoes.
