“Color Our World” will be the theme of the Summer Reading Program at the Worth County Partnership Library this year. It will be held from June 2nd through 6th at the Library.
It is open to students age 5 before August 1st through 5th grade. Sixth grade students may request to be a teacher’s aide — contact Nanci Drury if interested.
Each day includes a craft, a snack, and fun activities to keep each student engaged. It will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am June 2nd through 5th. On June 6th, there will be a field trip to the Legoland Discovery Center and Skyzone. Departure will be 8 am that day.
June 2nd’s theme is, “Words Color Our World.” There will be visiting authors, special barnyard surprises, and mosaic art.
June 3rd’s theme will be, “Fabrics Color Our World.” There will be visiting fabric craftsmen and tie-dye shirts.
June 4th’s theme will be, “Music Colors Our World.” There will be visiting musicians and a ping pong ball lantern.
June 5th’s theme will be, “Theatres Color Our World.” There will be actors and puppet craft.
Registration is due by May 2nd. Cost is $5 per child. No late registrations can be accepted as all supplies need to be ordered by this date.
