Area Courthouse, Police, and Crime Reports for April 9th, 2025

On March 25th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Zachariah Ikenberry (20) of Diagonal on two counts of Assault. Bond was set at $600, cash or surety.

On March 31st, Jill Heberlee (48) of Pittsburg (MO) failed to appear in Worth County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of Non-Support (Felony). A warrant was issued and bond was set at $200, cash only.

On April 1st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Barbara Rairden (34) of Albany alleging Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony). Bond was set at $5,000. Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones also filed charges against Robert Ellis (40) of Cameron alleging Peace Disturbance. Bond was set at $1,000 with the defendant released on his own recognizance. The co-defendants may not have contact with each other.

On April 1st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Felicia Campbell (37) of St. Joseph alleging Stealing (Felony). An affidavit from the Gentry County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant stole a firearm from someone following a breakup. Bond was set at $5,000, with the defendant released on her own recognizance.

On April 1st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Mercedez Harrison (21) of Savannah alleging Assault. Bond was set at $1,000 with the defendant released on her own recognizance.

On April 1st, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Norman Butts (45) of Darlington alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony).

On April 1st, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Lucas Tolle (19) of Gallatin alleging Making a Terroristic Threat. Bond was set at $5,000, cash only. An affidavit from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant had threatened to shoot up the Gallatin school on Snapchat after a teacher would not let him max out on weights. The defendant allegedly stated to police that he intended it as a joke.

On April 1st, Melody Watkins (50) of Jamesport pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Domestic Assault. She was placed on two years probation by Judge Micha Lea Dixon.

On April 1st, Matthew Smith (23) of Belton pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI and Failure to Signal. He was fined $50 plus costs and placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice. Defendant must complete SATOP and complete the Midwest Victim Impact Program by July 1st.

On April 1st, Moses Woodfin (23) of Kansas City pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to charges of DWI, Operating a Vehicle Without Properly Equipped Bumpers, and No Seat Belt. He was fined $510 plus costs and placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice. Defendant must complete SATOP and the Midwest Victim Impact Program by July 1st.

On April 1st, Larry Moore (53) of Cosby (MO) pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Violation of Protection Order. He was fined $200 plus court costs by Judge Robert Rice.

On April 1st, Aiden Martin (20) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Harassment. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice. Defendant can have no contact with the victim.

On April 1st, Peyton Goble (19) of Albany pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). They were sentenced to one year probation and ordered to complete 10 hours of community service by Judge Micha Dixon.

On April 1st, David Valenzuela (26) of Lenox pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice. Defendant must complete the Midwest Victim Impact Program.

On April 2nd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 27 year old woman was eastbound on Route 6 at around 7:55 pm, swerved to avoid another vehicle, left the roadway, and struck an embankment. She received minor injuries.

On April 2nd, Judge Corey Herron issued a Capias Warrant for Jack Buckman (24) of Bethany in Gentry County Circuit Court after the court received a violation report. The defendant was on probation after being found guilty of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Speeding.

On April 2nd, Judge Rebecca McGinley revoked the probation of Heather Stonebarger (55) of King City in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court and fined her $100. The defendant had been on probation after being found guilty of No Valid License and Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident).

On April 2nd, Chance Midyett (37) of King City pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail to be served on five consecutive weekends and fined $500 plus court costs of $115.50 and recoupment of $116 for a total of $731.50 by Judge Rebecca McGinley.

On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Jeffrey Ebrecht (41) of Maryville alleging Violation of a Protection Order.

On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Tyler Phillips (24) of Mound City alleging DWI and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway.

On April 2nd, Matthew Waddle (49) of Trenton failed to appear in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court on a charge of DWI. A warrant was issued and bond set at $2,500, cash only.

On April 2nd, Jason Miles (44) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway. Defendant must enter and successfully complete the substance abuse program through North Missouri Mental Health Services of Trenton. Defendant may request release from supervision upon successful completion of the program after one year minimum supervision.

On April 2nd, Tyson Stevens (20) of Bethany pleaded guilty in Harrison County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Trespassing. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Jay Hemenway. Defendant may be released after one year supervision and a favorable report from Probation. Defendant must submit to blood or urine tests for alcohol or drugs as directed.

On April 2nd, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Julie Bailey (59) of Maryville alleging Possession of Dangerous Dog. An affidavit from the Maryville Police Department alleges that the defendant possessed a dog which bit other people or dogs on five different occasions.

On April 3rd, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Joshua Craig (36) of Jamesport alleging Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Felony), Armed Criminal Action (Felony), and Assault. Bond was denied.

On April 3rd, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Charles Hunter (34) of Grant City alleging Driving While Revoked (Felony). Bond was set at $5,000 with the defendant released on his own recognizance.

On April 4th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Larry Miller (34) of Skidmore and Rebecca Lane (31) of Jamesport alleging Forgery (Felony) and Stealing (Felony). An affidavit from the Maryville Police Department alleges the defendants stole and forged a check from someone else to Miller for $1,500 and attempted to forge another check from the victim totaling $2,400. Bond for Lane was set at $10,000 cash or corporate surety.

On April 4th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Jaquan Davis (36) of St. Joseph alleging Driving While Revoked, Possession of Fentanyl (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $10,000, cash or corporate surety.

On April 4th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Sara Carter (45) of Parnell alleging Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $10,000, cash or corporate surety.

On April 5th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Brandon Wyatt (29) of Gallatin alleging 2 counts Burglary (Felony), Domestic Assault (Felony), Kidnapping, and Property. Bond was denied.

On April 7th, Jeremy Laun (44) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Delivery of Controlled Substance (Felony). He was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron. Defendant must apply for 4th Circuit Alternative Court and successfully complete it if accepted.

On April 7th, Justin Aley (44) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Distribution of Controlled Substance in Protected Area (Felony). He was placed on five years probation. Defendant must serve 60 days shock time with credit for time served, be furloughed on April 9th to enter and complete the DeNovo Treatment Program, and then return to custody to finish shock incarceration. Once finished, defendant must apply to the 4th Circuit Alternative Court Program and successfully complete the program if accepted.

On April 7th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 45 year old man from Grant City was northbound on 169 five miles north of Gentry at around 7:30 pm when he fell asleep, traveled off the west side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and went airborne. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest on the driver’s side. The man received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in Albany.

On April 7th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 16 year old girl from Parnell failed to stop at the stop sign at Route W and 46 one mile south of Parnell and was struck by a 34 year old woman from Ravenwood at around 3:29 pm. A four year old girl in the Ravenwood woman’s vehicle received minor injuries.

On April 7th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Kelly Hill (48) of Coffey alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Weapon and Controlled Substance (Felony). Bond was denied.

On April 7th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Sophie Matthews (32) of Weatherby (MO) alleging Stealing. An affidavit from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department alleges the defendant made 48 unauthorized charges from someone else’s bank account using her Cash App card totaling $4,110. Bond was set at $5,000, cash only.

On April 7th, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Robert Ellis (40) of Cameron alleging Driving While Revoked (3rd Offense, Felony). A capias warrant was issued.

Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
