On April 15th, Brian McDaniel (55) of Kansas City pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of DWI. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Micha Lea Dixon and ordered to complete 30 hours of community service.
On April 15th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Dixie Davis (67) of Diagonal on charges of Domestic Assault w/Deadly Weapon and Unlawful Use of a Firearm. Bond was set at $4,000, cash only.
On April 15th, Javier Palmer (20) of St. Joseph pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Attempted Escape from Custody. He was sentenced to six months in jail by Judge Micha Lea Dixon.
On April 15th, Ricky Bottorff (41) of Kidder pleaded guilty in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Peace Disturbance, Resisting Arrest, and Property Damage. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail by Judge Micha Lea Dixon with credit for time served.
On April 15th, Aaron Farrell (23) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Domestic Assault and Stalking. He was placed on probation for two years by Judge Robert Rice. Defendant is to have no contact with the victim except regarding their child.
On April 15th, Joshua Larison (36) of Maryville pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Assault. He was placed on two years probation by Judge Robert Rice.
On April 16th, Stephen Neill (61) of Blue Springs (MO) pleaded guilty in Daviess County Circuit Court to charges of DWI (Felony) and No Valid License. He was placed on five years probation and fined $150 plus court costs by Judge Ryan Horsman.
On April 16th, Lillibeth Sokolowski (19) of Sedalia pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Associate Circuit Court to a charge of Careless & Imprudent Driving (Accident). She was fined $80.50 plus costs by Judge Robert Rice.
On April 17th, Harrison County Prosecutor Michael Wulff filed charges against Christopher Lynn (52) of Olathe (KS) alleging Sexual Misconduct, Peace Disturbance, and Property Damage. Bond was set at $10,000, cash only.
On April 17th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Jacob Ray (19) of Bosworth (MO), Ashley Howes (29) of Carrollton, and Jason Spease (32) of Carrollton (MO) alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). Bond was set at $5,000, cash or corporate surety.
On April 17th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against James Wilmes (23) of Albany alleging Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device (Felony). An affidavit from the Maryville Police Department alleges that on October 3rd, 2023, the defendant was terminated from a local business. Subsequently, the defendant allegedly made 113 unauthorized transactions using his former employer’s credit card totaling $5,377.24 between October 3rd, 2023 and April 6th, 2025. Bond was set at $5,000, cash or corporate surety.
On April 17th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against Cherish Locklear (45) of Mound City alleging Failure to Register as Sex Offender (Felony). Bond was set at $5,000, cash or corporate surety.
On April 18th, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Vincent Hensen (43) of Cameron alleging Domestic Assault.
On April 18th, Cody Cheatham (26) of Spring (TX) pleaded guilty in Gentry County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Careless & Imprudent Driving and DWI. He was fined $100 for the Careless & Imprudent Driving Charged by Judge Rebecca McGinley. He was placed on probation for two years for the DWI. Defendant must serve two days shock time, complete SATOP, and pay $300 to the Gentry County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund, $131 recoupment fees, and $115.50 in court costs.
On April 18th, Daviess County Circuit Judge Daren Atkins issued a warrant for the arrest of Billy Joe Baldwin (50) of Altamont following a bond violation report. Bond was denied. The defendant is facing charges of No Valid License (Felony), Failure to Register, and No Tabs.
On April 18th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Kameron Miller of Mount Ayr on charges of Distribution of Drugs (Person under 18, Felony), Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $25,600, cash or corporate surety.
On April 18th, Judge Corey Herron revoked the probation of Joseph Dixon (45) of Kansas City in Nodaway County Circuit Court and ordered him to serve four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on a charge of Failure to Register as Sex Offender (Felony). The court found the defendant in violation as to Failure to Obey All Laws, Possession of Cocaine, Failure to Abide by GPS Monitoring, and Failure to Report.
On April 20th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter filed charges against David White (53) and Larry Miller (32) of Skidmore alleging Delivery of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). Bond for White was set at $50,000, cash or corporate surety. Bond for Miller was denied. Prosecutor Dieter also filed charges against Bradley Holsman (24) of Skidmore alleging Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony). Bond was set at $10,000, cash or corporate surety.
On April 21st, Dillon Denny (34) of Skidmore failed to appear in Nodaway County Circuit Court on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A warrant was issued and bond denied.
On April 21st, Jaiden Hopkins (23) of Hopkins pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to a charge of Harassment (Felony). She was placed on five years probation by Judge Corey Herron.
On April 21st, Kenneth Turner (30) of Skidmore pleaded guilty in Nodaway County Circuit Court to two charges of Delivery of Controlled Substance. He was sentenced to 10 years in the Department of Corrections by Judge Corey Herron. Court retains jurisdiction and will recall the defendant in 120 days following a treatment program to either place him on probation or issue final sentencing.
On April 21st, Judge Corey Herron approved a wrongful death settlement in Nodaway County Circuit Court in the matter of Brayden Welch against the Estate of Karl Wolbert. Wolbert was involved in a wreck that claimed the life of Welch’s father, Kevin Welch. The court issued a judgement against the estate awarding each of Kevin Welch’s four children $62,500 each.
On April 21st, Judge Corey Herron issued a warrant in Nodaway County Circuit Court for the arrest of Rebecca Lane (31) of Jamesport following a violation report. Bond was denied. The defendant was on probation for two Possession of Controlled Substance charges. The defendant subsequently picked up new charges.
On April 21st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Dakoda Wright (31) of Cainsville on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony).
On April 21st, Daviess County Prosecutor Andrea Beth Gibson filed charges against Dustin Gamble (23) alleging Assault (Felony). Bond was set at $5,000, cash only.
Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
