Courthouse News for May 3rd, 2023

On April 12th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Michael Johnson of Kellerton on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Interference with Official Acts.  Bond was set at $600, cash only.

On April 16th, the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department arrested Tyler Brammer (31) and Calli Brammer (28) on a charge of Violation of Protection Order. Bond was set at $300, cash or corporate surety.

On April 25th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Steven Shaub (59) of Yukon (OK) in Harrison County on charges of DWI and Careless & Imprudent Driving.

On April 27th, a 16 row John Deere planter ended up on its top in Redding after breaking from a tractor. It took two wreckers to get it right side up and out of the ditch. There were no injuries.

On April 27th, Interstate 29 north of the Savannah exit was blocked due to an accident near the 54 mile marker.

On April 27th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Korey Robinson (34) of Maywood (IL) in Harrison County on a Felony Warrant from the State of Illinois (Arson). 

On April 27th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jaden Finney (18) of Cainsville in Harrison County on charges of DWI, No Taillights, and No Seat Belt. 

On April 28th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Raul Benavides (50) of Mission (TX) in Harrison County on charges of DWI, Leaving the Scene, and No Insurance.

On April 29th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Chase Atkins (20) of Ravenwood was eastbound on 136 at around 2:23 am and a 2018 Chevy Cruze driven by John Luke (64) of Maryville was westbound. The Pontiac traveled into the path of the Cruze, and the front left of the Pontiac struck the front left of the Cruze. Atkins was seriously injured and life flighted to KU Medical Center. Luke and a passenger, Toyka Rosier (60) of Stanberry, received moderate injuries and were taken to Mosaic in Maryville. Subsequently, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Atkins (20) of Ravenwood in Nodaway County on charges of DWI (Felony, Physical Injury) and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway (Accident). Charges were subsequently filed by Nodaway County Prosecutor Tina Dieter. Bond was set at $10,000, cash or corporate surety.

On April 29th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Kevin Bethards (31) of Lamoni in Harrison County on a charge of No Valid License and a Livingston County Warrant (Traffic Violation). 

On May 2nd, Jordan Featherston (32) of Popular Bluff (MO) was arrested in Nodaway County on a warrant from the State of Arkansas.

Charges listed are merely allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
