Christopher J. Cummins, 70, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Maryville Living Center.
Christopher was born on July 19, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a 1967 graduate of Maryville High School and attended Northwest Missouri State University. Christopher was the manager of Cummins Furniture in Maryville. He was a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and was involved with N.A. He enjoyed shooting and collecting guns, rock and artifact hunting, music, shortwave radio, astronomy, fishing and paleontology.
He married Marianne Donegan on November 24, 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include two sons, Chris (Blaire) Cummins, Maryville, Missouri and Mike Cummins, St. Joseph, Missouri; sister, Ann Cummins, Topeka, Kansas and his greatest joy of all, his granddaughter, Cecilia Joye Cummins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Doris (Logan) Cummins.
Mr. Cummins has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11th at 2 PM at the St. Patricks Cemetery in Maryville. A register book will be available for friends to sign from 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday, May 10th at the funeral home. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Memorials can be made in care of the Ministry Center of Maryville.
