A Denver teen was injured in a wreck west of Hopkins Tuesday afternoon at around 12:16 pm. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2012 Chevy Impala driven by Sheyenne Downing (17) of Denver was westbound on JJ 8 miles west of Hopkins and 1.7 miles west of FF while a 2008 Nissan Xterra driven by Maison Grose (24) of Pagosa Springs (CO) was southbound on a private drive. The Patrol says the Xterra failed to yield and pulled into the path of the Impala. Downing received minor injuries and was taken to Mosaic Health Care in Maryville.
