An Albany woman was injured Thursday morning after she struck a deer on Route 136 five miles west of Albany near 169 and Carmack Junction. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2015 GMC Terrain driven by April Willis (44) of Albany was westbound on 136 when a deer entered the roadway and she struck the deer. She came to a controlled stop off the north side of the roadway. She received minor injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Albany.
