She was born on July 23, 1942 in Nodaway County, Missouri the daughter of Dale and Lola (Shelman) Weigart.
On June 5, 1960, she married Frank Baker. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2011.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pamela Kay Baker Peery and a brother, Larry Weigart.
Genevieve is survived by her three sons, Steve (Kristi) Baker and Miles Baker both of Eagleville, MO and Monte (Doris) Baker, Bethany, MO; sister-in-law, Betty Weigart, Roach, MO; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; fourteen step-grandchildren; numerous step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 6 at the Eagleville Christian Church, Eagleville, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Eagleville, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
