Conception Junction Man Lifeflighted Following Wreck

A Conception Junction man was life flighted following a wreck near Conception Junction Saturday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 1988 GMC 1500 driven by Kirby Sullivan (56) of Conception Junction was eastbound on Route VV at around 7:28 am when it traveled off the south side of the roadway, struck a metal culvert, struck ground, became airborne, and struck a utility pole. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels facing southeast underneath a utility wire. Sullivan received serious injuries and was life flighted to Research Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
