Alice was born on May 24, 1930 in Barnard, Missouri to Clarence and Susie (Rice) Fannon. She was the co-owner of Herbert Emery Sanitation and Tarpaulin repair business. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She married Herbert James Emery on December 12, 1967 in Des Moines, Iowa. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2016. She was also preceded by her parents, two sisters, Helen Kelly and Norma Poppa and one brother, Clarence “Bud” Fannon.
Survivors include her children, seven daughters, Sheryl (Mike) Meyer, Gaston, Oregon, Kathi (Robert) Boedeker, Maryville, Missouri, Janelle Emery, Maryville, Missouri, Robin (Joe) Farnan, Hopkins, Missouri, Cindy (Bill) Laughlin, Tigard, Oregon, Juanita Gilbert, Lewiston, Idaho, Roma (Eric) Dawson, Bellevue, Nebraska, three sons, Herbert “Tug” (Brenda) Emery, Pickering, Missouri, Bill (Stacy) Emery, Pickering, Missouri, Jerry (Brenda) Emery, Hopkins, Missouri; sister, Colleen Springs, Savannah, Missouri; twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty-nine-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services 1 pm Wednesday, August 14th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Maryville under the care of Price Funeral Home. Burial Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Barnard, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 13th at the funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Maryville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
