Sheridan News for May 7th, 2008

Fern Parman is a new resident at Worth County Convalescent Center. We hate to see her leave Sheridan but hope she is happy with her new surroundings. She is on the north hall, room 17 for anyone who wants to visit with her. She is sharing the room with Etha Pearl Ray. Visiting with Fern last week was her brother J.B. Turner, niece Betty Hill and Gordon Green From Tarkio, Eldon and Loretta Hart, Evelyn Hanson, Lois Constant, Jeff, Paige, Molly and Jess Blaine, Wayne and Judy Branham from Sheridan. Everyone is welcome to visit with them or call 660-564-7142.
Cathy Cottrell and Son John from Fort Madison, Iowa visited Icle Young Wednesday April, 30. Albert and Dianna Bakers St. Joseph, called on their aunt Icle Young Saturday a.m. May 3. They were headed for Allendale to visit her sister Vicky and other relatives. Icle Young was taken to the hospital last week and is expected to be home soon. We're sorry to hear that she's sick.
Laverne and Linda Walker took Ramona Parman to Janice Walkers in Kansas City on April 27 to see Janice's brother who has Cancer.
Marian Rowe has returned to her home from the nursing home. She is doing better. Glad to see her home. Wilbur and Patty Rowe Bedford had an accident with a cow last week. They are a little sore but doing the best they can under the circumstances. Wilbur is Roy and Dale’s Brother.
Omar Randle was taken to the hospital on Saturday May 3. He had a heart attack. Haven't heard how he's doing but will let you know when I hear. Bill Lantz also is in the hospital. Well wishes go out to both of them.
