Worth County Community Breakfast Scheduled for November 10th

The Worth County R-III Student Council will host its second community breakfast this school year on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am in the school cafeteria.  The menu this month is biscuits and gravy with sausage, orange juice, and coffee.  This FREEWILL donation event will use the proceeds to purchase and install a digital sign along Highway 46 at School Bus Road.
“We are hoping that our area hunters will come eat, but everyone is welcome,” said Abbi Caddenhead, Student Council President.  “We served 50 people last month and raised a little over $300.”

Through various fundraising activities the students have raised $500 toward the $30,000 needed for the sign.  Community groups interested in making a donation toward the purchase of the sign can negotiate free advertising opportunities once the sign is in place.  Contact Dr. Martz at the school for more information.

The student council will also accept recyclable materials (paper, cardboard, tin, aluminum, and plastic) from residents outside the city limits of Grant City. Contact the superintendent for more information.
