Recount To Be Conducted for Recorder of Deeds Race

A recount will be conducted for the Worth County Recorder of Deeds race between Ashley Rush and Meggan Brown. Brown won the GOP Primary with 225 votes to 224 for Rush. County Clerk Roberta Owens said that since the margin of victory was two votes or less, Rush could request a recount, which she has. A time and date has not been set yet for the recount. The winner will face incumbent Barb Foland in the November General Election.
