Beatrice Evelyn Griffey, 96 of Maryville, MO died September 7, 2017 at Maryville Living Center.
She was born September 7, 1921 in Clearmont, Missouri to Lee Everett and Emma Elizabeth (Kellogg) Griffey.
A graduate of Clearmont High School, Beatrice moved to Colorado, where she worked as a telephone operator for Southwest Bell/ATT&T. She had been a Maryville resident since 2003.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Kenneth and Emeryl Griffey and sisters Iola Thomas and Bernice Hamilton.
Beatrice is survived by her nieces: Hilah Macrander, Clearmont, Darlene Runyon, Sheridan, MO, Carolyn Sue Davison, Braddyville, IA, Janeane Miller, St. Joseph, Joan Meek, Fairfax, IA, Terri Wallace and nephew Steven Griffey, Utah.
Graveside Services and Burial were at 11:00 AM Monday, September 11th, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clearmont.
