On May 1st, the Worth County community donated 41 units of blood to help the Community Blood Center. There were five high school students who were first time donors. This drive surpassed our goal and was our most successful one of the year. Mobile blood drives account for more than 60% of the blood needed to keep our hospitals adequately supplied. Without our help, it would be difficult to collect the 580 pints needed each day for our family, friends, and neighbors. Thank you to all community members who gave their time to donate!!
