Judy Duey Hargin Branham was born on November 10, 1939 in Clearfield to John and Helen Lou (Horton) Duey. She passed away at the age of 72, May 17, 2012.
In 1956, she was united in marriage to Phillip Hargin and to this union three children were born; Mark Russell in 1957, Mitchell John in 1960, and Lisa Gayle in 1966. In 1963, they moved to Boulder, CO and she enjoyed being with her family. In 1968, Judy moved to Arizona where she lived for 12 years. In 1980, she moved back to Boulder and started working as a Quality Control Inspector for Pfizer, retiring in 1995. In 1985, she met and married Wayne Branham and after retiring in 1995, they moved to Sheridan, where she was a member of the 20th Century Club and was active in the CBC.
Judy and Wayne did a lot of traveling in their RV and by motorcycle and visited all lower 48 states and Alaska. They also traveled to Canada, Mexico, the Yucatan, and to the Virgin Islands and the Bahamas. Judy went all 13 years to the Clearfield Community School and graduated in 1958 and as a girl was active in 4-H. In the past several years, Judy spent a lot of time on her computer and developed an e-mail list of 220 residents and former residents of Clearfield who were kept informed of Clearfield happenings by her daily e-mails. She made many friends through the Internet and corresponded with people all over the world. She will truly be missed by those she corresponded with.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents John and Helen Lou, her brother Jim, and granddaughter Andrea Hargin.
Judy is survived by her husband Wayne, sons Mark Hargin of Bedford, Mitch Hargin of Clarinda, and Lisa (Don) Bergen of Superior, CO; step-children Joyce Fadick, J.R. Branham, and Gerald Branham; sister Brenda (Dean) Spurrier of Clearfield; grandchildren Sonya Hargin, Janina Hargin, Kyle, Rochelle, and Alec Bergan, step-grandchildren Deborah and Danielle Branham, Troy, and Samantha Branham, great-grandchildren Pacee and Cole, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service and interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home.
