County Commission Minutes -- Kevin Asher Hired for 911 Sign Maintenance

Presiding Commissioner Findley called the meeting to order at 9:15 am.
1.    Commissioner Rob Ruckman reported the gas prices as $3.499 and diesel as $3.899   
2.    Commissioner Dennis Gabbert made a motion to approve the minutes and agenda. Commissioner Rob Ruckman seconded. All in favor, motion carried.
3.    Treasurer Linda Brown presented the weekly balance sheet, payroll, and bills.
4.    Commissioner Rob Ruckman made a motion to approve the bills. Commissioner Dennis Gabbert seconded. All in favor, motion carried.
5.    Jim Fletchall, Road and Bridge Foreman Report:
    There is a tube washing out on CR 190
    There is a tube on CR 81 that needs replaced
    Fletchall will check pricing on some plastic tubes.
    The old Railroad bridge needs new planking, Fletchall will check around to see if he can find some wood.
    Commissioner Ruckman recorded a complaint of brush on CR 170 by the Jackson property, and the Panigot property on CR 163.  There is also a brush problem on CR 164 north of Denver.
6.    Commissioner Dennis Gabbert made a motion to go into closed session pursuant to RSMo 610-210 at 9:20. Commissioner Rob Ruckman seconded. Findley aye, Ruckman aye, Gabbert aye.
7.    Commissioner Dennis Gabbert made a motion to come out of closed session at 9:37. Commissioner Rob Ruckman seconded. Findley aye, Ruckman aye, Gabbert aye.
8.    Commissioner Dennis Gabbert made a motion to take the 911 boards recommendation to hire Kevin Asher for  the sign maintenance position. 
9.    Pat Kobbe, County EMD came to say that the final payment from the 1773 FEMA Disaster will arrive soon.
10.    Commissioner Rob Ruckman called Billy Bob Breedin about the lines running south of town on Lyon Ave. He also told Billy that the county is having trouble with their fax lines. Billy Bob said that the company had switched over to IP Trunk Lease Cost Routing System. They are having some problems with this system. Commissioners advised Clerk Roberta Owens to contact all county officials and have them call the company to report the problem.

11.    Commissioner Dennis Gabbert made a motion to adjourn for lunch at 12:05 pm. Commissioner Rob Ruckman seconded. All in favor, motion carried. Meeting Adjourned.

Presiding Commissioner Ted Findley opened the afternoon session of the meeting at 1:50 pm.

12.    David Baird, county attorney came to discuss roof issues.  Commissioner Dennis Gabbert made a motion to have David contact Frasier Roofing and ask them to arrange with commissioners  to inspect current roof, leaks, and address the concerns of the Commission regarding status of roof completion.  Commissioner Rob Ruckman seconded. All in favor, motion carried. 
13.    Economic Developer Tammy Ueligger reported on the County Market Day, and gave them some flyers to hang or hand out.
14.    Commissioner Dennis Gabbert made a motion to adjourn at 4:20 pm. Commissioner Rob Ruckman seconded. All in favor, motion carried.
