The Worth County High School students have selected this year’s royal court for Homecoming 2026. The theme this year is “Y2K-0 the Competition.” The theme is based on the decade of the 2000’s. The high school students will choose their Homecoming King and Queen on September 24th, with the official announcement following the Homecoming Parade on September 25th at Matteson Field (weather permitting) at the school.
The Homecoming Parade will take place at 1:15 pm along the town square on September 25th. The coronation will follow at the school. Before the game with Albany starts at 7:00 pm, the royalty will be reintroduced.
Representing the freshmen will be Karleigh Guinn and Cole Hardy. The Sophomore representatives will be Kynlee Steele and Mason Hiatt. Brynn Chapman and Liam Hayden will represent the juniors.
Queen candidates this year will be Keira Hardy, Kambree Briner, and Alivia Moyer. King candidates will be Hayden Sanders, Caleb New, and Bo Collins.
The school will honor their 50-year queen Janice (Hardy) Borey, their 25-year queen Jenny (Dunfee) Surber, and 10-year queen Payton (Adwell) Beason.
The East parking lot will be available for community parking. If weather precludes using the football stadium, the coronation will be held in the High School Gym before the parade.
