Mary Lou was born on November 24, 1948, to Joe and Irene Swaim. She grew up in Bedford, IA and Grant City, MO. She graduated from NWMSU in 1971 and taught in the North Kansas City School District for 28 Years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Marvin, her sister Connie Brewington, and her husband Dean Daniels.
Mary Lou is survived by her nieces Billie Jo Kregel and Mary Kurban; nephew Robert Kurban and their families.
“We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love. Then we return home.”
Per Mary Lou’s request, she has been cremated and requests no service. Her family requests donations to first responders or a local pet rescue.
Cremation is under care of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, Missouri.
