Constance "Connie" Lee Swaim-Brewington, 79, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026. Born on November 19, 1946, in Maryville, Missouri, Connie grew up in the Grant City area and graduated from Worth County High School. In 1968, she moved to Stone County, settling in McCord Bend, Galena, Missouri. She later moved to Reeds Spring, and after marrying her husband, Robert Brewington, settled in Kimberling City. Connie dedicated her professional life to the real estate industry, building a successful career guided by her strong work ethic and commitment to helping others in her community.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Irene Swaim; her brother, Marvin Dean Swaim; and her beloved husband, Robert Brewington.
She is survived by her loving sister, Mary Lou Swaim-Daniels; her three devoted children, Billie Jo Kregel of Kimberling City, Mary Ruth Kurban of Kimberling City, and Robert John Kurban (and wife Jodi) of Springfield; four grandchildren, Alexander Kurban, Colby Kregel, William Kurban, and Katelynn Kurban; and two great-grandchildren, Victoria Kurban and Alexander Kurban.
A private family gathering to celebrate Connie's life and memory will be held at a later date.
Cremation is under the care of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, Missouri.
