Two teens were injured in a wreck two miles southeast of Maryville at around 8:09 pm Saturday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 1997 Chevy 1500 driven by a 17 year old Maryville teen was westbound on Katydid Road when he failed to negotiate an intersection, traveled off the west side, struck an embankment, and came to rest in the roadway. Two passengers, a 15 year old girl from Kansas City and Jordan Brady (18) of Maryville, received moderate injuries and were taken to Mosaic in Maryville. The driver was not injured.
