Courthouse News for May 9th, 2018

On May 1st, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Skylar Hamilton (25) of Albany in Gentry County on charges of Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident (Class E Felony), Careless & Imprudent Driving Resulting in an Accident, and No Seat Belt.

On May 2nd, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office arrested John Leroy Pace (47) of Creston in Sharpsburg on charges of two counts Possession of Marijuana and Meth and two counts Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was taken to the Taylor County and held on $2,000 bond.

A Clearfield man reported to the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office on May 2nd that someone had entered his machine shed and took ECCO LED lights off a tractor which was being stored.

 An Adel (IA) woman reported on May 2nd to the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Department that someone had entered a house she owns in Delphos (IA) in the last month or so and took several items from the house. Some of those items are: Numax floor nailer, DeWalt miter saw, Craftsman Evolv air compressor pancake 3 gallon, DeWalt cordless drill, skill saw, Roto zip, Old Milwaukee Sawzall with cord, Black corded drill, 5-gallon bucket with tools, Big red bolt cutters, Old large speakers 3.5 ft x 2.5 ft.

On May 4th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Miguel Trevino (25) of Irving (TX) in Harrison County on charges of Possession of Less Than 35 Grams of Meth and Speeding 25+ Miles Per Hour Over the Speed Limit.

On May 5th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Michael Doolittle (38) of Ridgeway in Harrison County on charges of DWI and Careless & Imprudent Driving.

On May 6th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Jason Floyd (38) of Albany in Gentry County on charges of DWI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Drive on Right Half of Roadway.

On May 6th at Highway 136 and EE between Ravenwood and Maryville, the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department reported that while the owner was mowing, he saw a car stop and his family dog jumped in when called. The dog was subsequently recovered unharmed and returned to the owner.

On May 7th, the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department reported that they recovered several possibly stolen radiators and trans coolers. If you are missing one, please contact them at (660) 582-7451.

On May 7th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Donalee Holsten (57) of Elmo in Nodaway County on charges of Speeding and Driving While Suspended (2nd Offense).

On May 7th, Dayton Chaney of Denver pleaded guilty in Worth County Associate Circuit Court to charges of Operating Without a Valid License, No Seat Belt, and No Insurance. He was assessed $304 in fines, court costs, and fees.
