Obituary -- Jerry Fletchall 1938-2017

Jerry Fletchall, son of Gordon and Mildred (Rowen) Fletchall was born April 12, 1938 in Worth County, Missouri. He died at 8:30 P.M. April 29, 2017 at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr, Iowa.

He graduated from Grant City High School in 1956. He married Bonnie May Deardorff on May 25, 1957. To this union were born: Debra, Max, Carol, Cindy and Karla.

Jerry and Bonnie resided in Clearfield, Iowa, raising their family. Jerry worked for Ewalt Farms, Spurrier Oil Company and was a self-employed mechanic before his retirement. He was on the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department  for 30 years serving as Chief for several years.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie of Clearfield, son Max (Susie) of Clearfield, daughters: Carol Smith of Creston, Iowa, Cindy (Brad) Mattson of Bailey, Colorado, Karla (Rick) Young, also of Creston, son-in-law Danny Booher of Albany, Missouri; grandchildren: Mitch (Hillary) Booher, Laila, Jaylee and Evy of Bethany, Missouri, Jeff (Jamie) Booher, Karsley and Cali of Albany, Missouri, Mike (Carrie) Fletchall, Alex and Charlee of Gravity, Iowa, Matt (Jami) Fletchall, Sophy and Konner of Creston, Keith and Kyrie Smith of Chicago, Illinois, Kierra Smith of Hamilton, Bermuda; Miranda, Chantz, Chase Mattson of Bailey, Colorado, Chism Mattson of Denver, Colorado, Hailey Young of Creston; sisters: Margie Conard of Grant City, Faye Heintz of St. Joseph, Missouri; brothers: Allen and Kenneth Fletchall of Grant City, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding him in death were daughter Debra Booher, grandsons: Jason Lee Hughes and James Lee Booher, parents: Gordon and Mildred Fletchall, brother: Gerald Fletchall; sisters: Janis Newcomer and Cleta Ahrens and parents–in-law, Virgil Sr. and Pearl Deardorff.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri. Interment will be in the Knox Cemetery in Worth, Missouri. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday May 3, 2017 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the family in care of the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home.
