Hopkins Person Injured in Accident
A Hopkins resident was injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2011 Tiazaou Chuanl Moped driven by Michelle Spalding, 42, was turning south onto 5th street from 246 in Hopkins. Spalding lost control on the gravel and the moped overturned once, ejecting Spalding. She received moderate injuries and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Maryville.
