State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced that 2011 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 2.7 percent compared to 2010, from $6.28 billion last year to $6.45 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for May 2011 decreased by 3.92 percent compared to those for May 2010, from $613.8 million to $589.7 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
Increased 2.5 percent for the year, from $5.03 billion last year to $5.15 billion this year.
Decreased 1.4 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
Increased 0.3 percent for the year from $1.63 billion last year to $1.64 billion this year.
Increased 1.1 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
Increased 10.1 percent for the year, from $417.3 million last year to $459.5 million this year.
Increased 196.2 percent for the month.
All other collections
Increased 18.9 percent for the year, from $409.1 million last year to $486.4 million this year.
Increased 34.6 percent for the month.
Refunds
Increased 6.5 percent for the year, from $1.21 billion last year to $1.28 billion this year.
Increased 187.2 percent for the month.
