“The Basics of Writing a Business Plan”

Do you have an idea for a business, but, don’t know what information the bank is going to need to recognize the greatness your idea? Have you started your business, but, now need to expand, and you don’t know how to update that business plan you started with 7 or 8 years ago?
Well, the University of Missouri Extension has a simple solution. Business Development Specialist: Tom Kelso, will be teaching a class on how to put your business plan together on June 23rd, at the Buchanan County Extension Office. You will be shown the basic parts of a business plan and what a lending institution will be looking for in each of those sections. You will be shown how to make your business plan look professional, and how to avoid common mistakes when building your plan. Moreover, this seminar explains how your business plan can help you in the day-to-day operation of your business. As the name suggests, it is a PLAN for your business.
The cost for this three-hour seminar is $35, and will be held at the Buchanan County Extension Office, 4125 Mitchell Ave., St. Joseph, MO on June 23rd, 2011 from 9 AM to 12 noon.
