Obituary -- Mike Fletchall 1974-2019

Michael “Mike” Jackson Fletchall, 44, of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his group home, TLC Care Center in Stanberry.

Mike was born February 22, 1974 at Gentry County Memorial Hospital (NWMC) in Albany, Missouri.

He is survived by his parents, Charles “Mike” and Deborah (Parker) Fletchall, Stanberry, formerly from Grant City; sister, Valerie (Galen) Kemery, Worth, MO; brother, Ryan Fletchall, Gentry, MO.; nephews, Terrell Owens, Maryville; Lane Kemery, Worth, MO; Javen Reese Fletchall, King City; niece, Elizabeth Owens, St. Joseph, MO; grandma, Marjorie (Young) Parker, Maryville, MO; girl friend of 5+ years, Melissa Ebrecht, Albany; aunts, uncles and cousins

Mike was preceded in death by his grandpa, “Doc” Jack Orval Parker (Mike was named after his grandpa Parker), being his first grandchild, a grandson, also his grandparents, Merlin and Betty Fletchall, uncle, David Fletchall and his cousins, Anthony Evans and Joey Raymond.

Mike enjoyed his “Football” all teams. While in school, he was football manager for Stanberry Bulldogs and a big fan of the Worth County Tigers at Grant City,  Kansas City Chiefs and also for the Northwest Bearcats in Maryville.

Mike graduated from the Stanberry R-II High School in 1994.  He lived in the Bethany Group Home for 15 years and was employed by the Harrison County Workshop in Bethany. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and he also helped with the Bethany Fire Department.  After moving back to Stanberry, he worked at the Stanberry Opportunity workshop going on 9 years now.  It was a job that he loved, making his own money.  He was a member of the Stanberry J.C. Club.

Mike loved being on the go, being with his family, outings and dates with his girlfriend, Melissa, bowling on a team, fishing, eating out, movies, going to Camp Courage and going to high school football games.

Mike never knew a stranger and everyone knew Mike! He will be missed so much, by so many that knew him.  Our Hearts are broken.
