Bluejay Boys Shut Down Barnett, Trojans
Northeast Nodaway’s boys turned back an improved Union Star squad, beating the Trojans 53-36 as they outscored them in every quarter for the win. The Trojans had been on the doormat for a while in the conference, only getting two wins last year. But they showed improvement this year behind the play of Kagen Barnett, who had scored over 30 in some games this year. The focus of the game was on stopping Barnett, and the Bluejays did so, limiting him to 15 points.
