Tornado Fire & Safety Trailer coming

The Worth County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) and the Worth County R-III SOAR Program are sponsoring a visit from the St. Joseph Tornado & Fire Safety Training Trailer. According to Pat Kobbe, EMD, the trailer will be at the Worth County R-III School South Parking lot on Tuesday, April 22 and will be available for viewing around 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The trailer simulates being in a tornado and also a fire. This will be an excellent opportunity for children to realize the dangers of each.
