Obituary -- Connie Wonderly

Connie Wonderly, 72, of Sheridan, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Surrounded by the love of family and friends, Connie entered eternal rest after a life beautifully lived and was deeply cherished.

Connie was a woman whose warmth could light up any room. She was known for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Throughout her life, she touched countless lives with her compassion, wisdom, and ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. Her beautiful smile, comforting words, and generous heart will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to know her.

Connie found great joy in sewing, gardening, traveling, watching the sunrise, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. She also loved riding horses and treasured the peace and happiness those moments brought her. She appreciated life’s simple blessings and had a special way of making ordinary moments feel meaningful. Her strength, grace, kindness, and loving personality made her truly special to everyone around her.

Connie worked many jobs throughout her life, always bringing dedication and a strong work ethic wherever she went. Her final place of employment was with Federal Mogul. She was proud of the work she did and the friendships she made over the years.

Connie and her beloved husband, Robert Wonderly, shared 53 wonderful years of marriage together. Their love, devotion, and commitment to one another were an inspiration to all who knew them.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Robert Wonderly of the home; her sisters, Dora Hall and husband Bob, Sue Davis and late husband Bob; her brother, Eldon “Pete” Randle and wife Susie; her sisters, Joan Osman and husband Larry, and Joyce Peterman and husband Ray; her younger brother, Randy Randle and Jennie Frame; her aunt, Carol Randle; her brothers-in-law, Ed and wife Betty Wonderly, Gerald and wife Judy Wonderly, John and wife Carol Wonderly, and Jim and wife Barb Wonderly; Selma Joan Wonderly, and her late husband, Sylvester; Joy and her late husband David Randle, her close friend Brenda Youngs, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Omer and Margaret Randle; her younger brothers, Ron Randle; her older brother Vern “Rod” and his wife Claudia Randle, her younger sister, Lori Randle; her sister-in-law Teresa Stoll, and her husband, Martin Stoll.

Though her passing leaves a tremendous void, Connie’s love and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and endlessly loved. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will remain with her family always.

There will be no services for Connie per her wishes. Arrangements are under direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri.
