Two Injured, One Life Flighted Following Sheridan Wreck

Two people were injured and one lifeflighted following a wreck one mile east of Sheridan on Route 246 at around 2:55 pm. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 1998 Ford Pickup driven by Bertsel Tate (52) of Maryville was westbound on Route 246 when the towed unit began to fishtail and went off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle returned to the road, crossed the centerline, and began to rotate before going off the right side again, causing the towed unit to detach. The pickup struck the ditch and overturned.

Tate received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in Maryville. A passenger, Stephanie Tate, received serious injuries and was life flighted to Mosaic in St. Joseph.
