Contests have formed for the Worth County Presiding Commissioner’s race and the Recorder of Deeds race. Robin Davidson, a Republican, has challenged incumbent Jubal Summers for the August 2nd primary. The winner will be automatically elected. In the Recorder of Deeds race, Republicans Cheyenne Troutwine and Tracy Miller will face each other in the August 2nd primary. The winner will face Democrat Amanda Gilland in the November General Election.
Circuit Judge Joel Miller, Prosecuting Attorney Janet Larison, Circuit Clerk Jana Findley, County Clerk Roberta Owens, Collector candidate Jessica Davidson, and Treasurer candidate Stephanie Hardy are all unopposed.
