Two people were seriously injured and one life flighted in a wreck near Galt at around 3:24 pm Tuesday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Travis Vasey (31) of Trenton was westbound on Route 6 at the west city limits of Galt, in Grundy County, when he traveled off the north side, overcorrected, returned to the roadway, drove off the south side, struck an embankment, overturned, and struck multiple trees. Vasey was seriously injured and was lifeflighted to Truman Medical Center. A passenger, Dakota Dalton (26) of Humphreys (MO), was seriously injured and taken to Wright Memorial.
