A Ravenwood woman was injured Thursday afternoon in a wreck near Savannah at around 3:15 pm that afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2018 Ford SUV driven by Leslie Wilmes (36) of Ravenwood and a 2007 KW Tractor Trailer driven by Triston McKay (22) of New Market (IA) were both northbound on Route 71 just north of Andrew County Road 139 six miles north of Savannah. The Patrol says the tractor/trailer was stopped in traffic waiting for a school bus when the SUV struck the trailer. Wilmes received moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph.
