A teen was lifeflighted after a collision between a car and an ATV Thursday at around 7:45 pm. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 1997 Honda four-wheeler ATV driven by a 17 year old teen and a 2016 Chrysler driven by Taylor O’Dell (26) of Chula were both eastbound on Route K one mile west of Chula, in Livingston County. The Patrol says the ATV slowed to make a left turn on Livingston County Road 251 and gave a hand signal to make a left turn. The Chrysler attempted to pass on the left, striking the ATV and ejecting the driver. The teen was seriously injured and was life flighted to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. O’Dell was not injured in the accident.
