Bob Grantham, Jr., 94, Ravenwood, MO (formerly of Kansas City, MO) passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at a Stanberry, MO nursing home.
He was born on February 3, 1926 in Ravenwood, Missouri the son of Robert Lowery and Grace (Gabbert) Grantham.
On December 21, 1947, he married Mary Lou Spencer in St. Joseph, Missouri. She preceded him in death.
Bob served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Stanberry United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, gardening, card parties, and country music shows.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Saundra Grantham; two sisters, Roberta Terrell and Betty Sager and a grandson, John Paul Robertson IV.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Connie (John) Robertson, Lee’s Summit, MO and Deborah Grantham, Mission, KS; sons, Rick Grantham, Lee’s Summit, MO and Randie (Crystal) Grantham, Edmund, OK, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Private Family Services were held at the Stanberry United Methodist Church, Stanberry, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Stanberry, MO. Private Burial with Military Rites followed. The family received friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 6 at Roberson Funeral Home, Stanberry, MO.
