There were 42 total Coronavirus cases in Worth County as of Friday, the Tri-County Health Department reported. There were 8 active cases. There were 245 cases in Gentry County and 35 active cases.
The Worth County Care & Rehab Center reported that one of the positive tests was a staff member. They are self-isolating at home. On Friday, all the residents and other staff members were tested and all tested negative.
Over the weekend, there were seven more positive tests, bringing Worth County up to 49 total cases and 14 active cases. Positive cases in Gentry Country rose by 30 to 275. There were 59 active cases.
Gentry County reported a 23.4% positive testing rate from October 29th to November 4th. Worth County reported a 10% positive testing rate over the same time period.
