North Harrison FFA Starts Off Strong at Area Contests

On March 6th, North Harrison students went to Brunswick Judging Day, where they posted the following results:
Agronomy – 3rd place overall. Individual standings: Kami Gibson 11th, Kadyn Hukill 12th, Ashlynn Gilpatrick 16th, Cooper Cracraft 37th out of 101.
Forestry – 2nd place overall. Individual standings: Steven Willhite 10th, Kason Mathes 11th, Nick Babinski 16th, Brandon Hamilton 20th  out of 87.
Horses – 8th place overall. Rainey Fordyce 5th overall.
Livestock – 1st place overall. Trendi Johnson 1st, Carly Rinehart 5th, Lola Breshears 9th, Grant Claycomb 12th, Emma Craig 38th out of 138.
Meats – 4th place overall. Nicholas Mickelson 9th, Kylie Pottorff 11th, Brett Emig 21st of 134.
Other FFA members went to the Carrollton Area Career Center Contest held that same day. The following results were posted:
Dairy Foods – 2nd place overall. Kaden Koch 3rd, Cruz Ury 6th, Collin Briggs 18th, Hunter Parkhurst 20th out of 91.
Poultry – 1st overall. Noah Breshears 1st, Kamden Robertson 2nd, Tyson Gibson 11th, Kendall Kimbrough 12th, Cole Kampman 19th of 86.
On March 7th, students continued their competitions in Columbia. At the Columbia FFA MoASK contest, the Dairy Cattle team finished first. Individually, Trendi Johnson was 3rd overall, Karley Koch 4th, Halle Morgan 9th, Shae Keefer 14th, and Curtis Guy 26th out of 64.
The Food Science team finished 10th overall. Kylie Pottorff was 11th individually.
The Mizzou Livestock Judging and Grading Contest was held the same day. North Harrison was 5th overall in the Senior division. Individually, Lola Breshears was 6th, Carly Rinehart 13th, Emma Craig 20th, and Grant Claycomb 22nd out of 71.
