Worth County Accepts Two Resignations, Rehires Teachers

The Worth County School Board, at their regular Board of Education Meeting Thursday, voted to accept the resignations of Hadley Roberts and Hannah Frerking at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. The votes were unanimous.

The board voted to rehire the following Probationary Teachers – Jackie Findley (Part-Time), Janet Kinsella (Part Time), Baylee Arends, Will Coleman, Ashton Lewis, Rachel Runde, Brittany Schlapia, Keeley Sherer, Caleb Smith, and Jamie Stalder. The vote was 6-0-1, with Tyler Steele abstaining.

The board also voted to continue the employment of the following Tenured Teachers – Linda Phipps (Part Time), Tiffany Bliley, Nanci Drury, April Healy, Leena Hightshoe, Patty Lischer, Selina O’Connor, Amanda Pottorff, Kelley Ross, Josh Smith, Merry Spiers, and Julia Wideman. The vote was unanimous.

The board voted to tenure the following teachers – Karen Andrews, Blaire Owens, and Nicki Tracy. That vote was 6-0-1, with Jeff Andrews abstaining.

The board voted to approve a Tenure Teaching and Technology Administrator Contract to Chris Healy and hire Tera Coleman and Ryan Laddish as probationary teachers. Those votes were unanimous.
