Worth County Rehires Principals, Hires Three New Personnel

The Worth County School Board voted at its regular Board of Education Meeting to rehire Principals Chuck Borey and Jon Adwell following a 25 minute closed session. In addition, the board voted to offer Alison Brandt a Probationary Teacher Contract contingent on approved background check. The board voted to offer Emiley Maudlin Technology Support position, effective May 1st, contingent on approved background check. The board voted to approve Nancy Findley as substitute food service employee contingent on approved background check. All votes were unanimous.

The board will consider teacher contracts and extra duty assignments and non-certified personnel during next month’s board meeting.

The board voted to purchase a 2020 Chevy Malibu at the state contract price of $17,464 plus an additional $110 for a 3rd set of keys or key fob, using Pettijohn Auto Center to handle the paperwork.

The board also voted to approve an Athletic Training Level 1 Service contract with Mosaic for the 2020-2021 school year at a cost of $2,140. These votes were also unanimous.
