Betty D. Bennett was born October 5, 1928 to Bert and Fidella (Rowen) Stickelman. She passed away July 2, 2019 at the age of 90.
Betty lived in Independence, Missouri until 1982 when she moved to Sheridan, Missouri. She lived there until moving to Grain Valley, Missouri 3 1/2 years ago to be closer to family. She was a member of the Sheridan Christian Church, 60 plus club and at one time belonged to the Stitch and Chatter Club.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
Betty is survived by her son, James Harrell of Grain Valley, Missouri; granddaughters: Tresa (Robert) Thornhill, and Cheri Nix; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Nix, her sister, Ona Sielaff and her niece Michelle Sielaff of Symrna, Tennessee; as well as many friends.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Sheridan Christian Church in Sheridan, Missouri. Interment will be in the Isadora Cemetery near Grant City. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to service time. Arrangements are under direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri.
