Oskaloosa Man Seriously Hurt in Motorcycle Wreck

An Oskaloosa (IA) man was seriously injured in a wreck near Eagleville Friday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2003 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle driven by George King (47) of Oskaloosa was exiting southbound from I-35 onto the ramp at the Missouri Welcome Center and Rest Area. He failed to negotiate a curve and went off the left side of the roadway, overturning multiple times. He was ejected and the motorcycle came to rest on its passenger side facing south. King was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was taken to Harrison County Hospital.
