Courthouse News for June 5th, 2019

On May 19, 2019 at 10:15 Ringgold County Deputies responded to a call about a man firing a gun in his home. Benjamin Lee Hunsucker (37) of Beaconsfield (IA), was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense. He was transported and booked into the Ringgold County Jail. He was being held on no bond until seen by the magistrate.

On May 22, 2019 at 3:36 pm Tyler Jon Hightshoe (21) of Mount Ayr, was arrested on the charge of Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense. He was transported and booked into the Ringgold County Jail. He was being held on no bond until seen by the magistrate.

On May 28th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Cameron Bacal (30) of Webb City alleging No Valid Interstate Fuel Permit.

On May 28th, Harrison County Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer filed charges against Anthony Malecki (34) of Lakewood (OH) alleging No Valid Interstate Fuel Permit.

On May 28th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Kyle Campbell (32) of Shenandoah alleging Tampering with a Motor Vehicle (Felony), two counts Resisting Arrest (Felony), and No Valid License. Bond was set at $20,000 cash or corporate surety.

On May 28th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Cameron Starks (19) of Lees Summit alleging Possession of Marijuana.

On May 28th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against James Miller (33) of Maryville alleging Delivering Prohibited Item to Jail.

On May 28th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Courtney Schlegel (32) of Shenandoah alleging No Valid License.

Kelli Larson, 30, of New Market was arrested on May 29, 2019 in the 2300 block of 250th Street in Bedford by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. She was charged with Interference with Official Acts and was released on $300 bond.

On May 29th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Maggie Ueligger (27) of Grant City alleging No Insurance and Speeding.

On May 30th, Worth County Prosecutor Janet Wake Larison filed charges against Samual Smith (41) of Kansas City, Jeffrey Miller (30) of Kansas City, and Thomas Zelasko (40) of Kansas City alleging one count each Tampering with a Motor Vehicle (Felony).

On May 31st, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Dakota Kaufman (18) of Conception Junction, Jacob Dyche (30) of Maryville, Charles Pappert (51) of Ravenwood, and Wayne Spire (56) of Maryville alleging No Insurance.

On June 3rd, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Jacob Grim (30) of Gentry alleging Tampering wit a Motor Vehicle (Felony) and Driving While Revoked (Felony). Bond was set for $4,950, cash only.

Patrick Normandeau, 20, of Creston, was arrested on June 3, 2019, in the 2200 block of Tennessee Avenue. He was charged with Driving While License Revoked, for a prior OWI and was released after posting $1,000 bond.

On June 3rd, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Levi Murphy (20) of King City and Hunter Woods (19) of Gentry alleging No Helmet and No Valid Motorcycle License.

On June 3rd, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Adam Ramer (20) of Darlington alleging Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On June 3rd, Gentry County Prosecutor Jessica Jones filed charges against Ronald Angle (28) of Stanberry alleging Careless & Imprudent Driving, No Valid License (2nd Offense), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On the evening of June 3rd, someone in a white pickup with no muffler drove through Sheridan at around 45 miles per hour. The speed limit for Routes 246 and H in city limits is 25 miles per hour.

On June 4th, Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice filed charges against Andrew Lester (28) of Blue Springs alleging Littering.

Charges listed are mere allegations. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
